Gavdos is the southernmost island in Greece and Europe, located to the south of Crete. The capital of Gavdos is Kastri. Gavdos has been identified as a possible site of the mythical Ogygia, where Kalypso held Odysseus prisoner. Gavdos has many beautiful beaches worth visiting!
